Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

So, how are you doing, my friends?

A No-brainer that i would make a Hugh Jackman eventually, right?

the story is fun though, as always, filled with rage against the machine and thrilling adventure!

I must say that after i left my statue attempt (circa 2002?) i had no real intention of ever getting back to the ol’ canucklehead, but after making Patrick Stewart Professor X, i watched the movies and kinda got turned on on HAVING a wolverine (on on?)

see, marvel select was going to release a Wolverine Origins figure that didn’t look that bad in the previews, i was like, yeah i can rework the face and give him a jacket, its a 7 inch-ish wolverine with amazing sculpt and articulation, right?

WRONG

as toy companies usually do, they messed up, the scale was not right, the proportions were toy-ish and sincerelly, it looked like a re-used marvel legends, there was no attention to textures(like the wife beater), the details (like the belt) well, it looked barely like the actor…

so after a long time trying to figure out what i would do with those beautiful muscular naked men the answer appeared to me in a wet dream

OF COURSE, the ufc figures would not fit the scale and proportions i wanted, so i had to start by restructuring the buck to mr jackman’s body (no compromising adjective here)

since i could not just find old xmen movie figures to steal the jacket, i had to come up with something my own – i must confess i did think of tailoring one from scratch – i just didnt think i would be able to XD

but yeah, i did tailor a custom 1/10 1/12 jacket out of leather- and it was crazy fun

inside jeans jacket made of – guess? – jeans, the wife beater using a sock(not a used sock, i bought one just for it ok?) but the interesting part is the shirt

you see(you, who im talking to?) i have this high-risk modus operandi like “i’ll either ruin it or end up with something really great” so yeah, i knew i wanted the shirt – i just had no idea how i would make it XD

so, walking outside to make my ideas clear (and my lungs not) i figured out that i could use a christmas ribbon – what would be perfect if we weren’t so past christmas already…

lucky me, someone in my neighborhood didnt feel like fighting the snow to take their decoration off ;)

here, close stranger, is the public thank you for helping a delinquent find a way into rightness through art

so, blame geekness or gayness, i sculpted wolverine shirtless, and made 4 layers of removable clothing over

it’s cool cause i can play X-men1:

And still the king of the cage…the Wolverine”

X-men 2:

“You wanna shoot me, then SHOOT me–!! *snik-snikt*”

X-men 3:

“You should have killed me when you had the chance!” See, i’m so funny cause i’m citing Magneto and being really smart meaning the third movie is sooo great

Which brings me to, now my X-men movie collection that previously consisted of a lonely professor, now has an addition and i plan on making a Mags to close it

And enough talk (thank you and congratulations if you done so far – whaddahell, thank you so much for stopping by :) here are some pictures:

OH yeah, almost forgot! the claws are made of my credit card

PS: yeah, i forgot to post wip pictures

So this is what you’ve been up to. Make one of Tom Skylark for me and we can have all kinds of mad gay sex fantasies. Right up my ally, you know.Seriously though, this rocks. The clothing is awesome, the figure is awesome.

I don’t know what is better: that you made a figurine of one of my favorite hotties, or the fact that you actually made all of his clothes. :D
